ATHENS - UGA Football has been installed as a near touchdown favorite to beat the Auburn Tigers this Saturday at Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn.

Georgia is listed as a 4.5-point favorite to beat the Tigers on the road. The line moved up and down after Saturday saw both the Dawgs and Vols beat outmatched opponents. UGA game into the season as a 6-point favorite to win the contest.

The line means the Bulldogs have “about” a 69% chance of winning the game straight up.

The Bulldogs have been favored in nine contests in a row between the two programs. This year’s point spread is the fewest points UGA has been favored since winning at Auburn in 2019.

In that game No. 4 Georgia clinched its third-consecutive SEC Eastern Division championship with a 21-14 victory over No. 12 Auburn. The Tigers’ a fourth-quarter rally got Auburn within a score, but Travon Walker sacked of Nix on 4th-and-10 play.

Jake Fromm hit Dominick Blaylock for a 51-yard touchdown, Brian Herrien for a five-yard touchdown and Eli Wolf for the final touchdown for the Dawgs also from five yards out.

Georgia is 7-3 against the spread in the last ten games against Auburn (2024, 2023 and 2017 No. 1).

BetQL predicts the outcome of the game to be a 25-22 Georgia win.
