ATHENS - Several game spreads have been determined early for the Georgia Bulldogs, and signs point towards the Dawgs being favored in every regular season game in 2025.

DraftKings has released lines for seven of Georgia’s 12 regular season games. The sportsbook has Georgia as the favorite in all of them. It is a good indication that Kirby Smart and the Dawgs will likely be the betting favorite in each of its regular season games, with only one matchup against Texas potentially threatening that.

Texas is the only team in the Southeastern Conference (SEC) and on Georgia’s schedule that is ranked higher heading into the season. Georgia being the home team will almost certainly keep the Dawgs as the favorite.

(-39.5) Vs. Marshall

Georgia’s biggest line that has been released so far is for its season-opening matchup at home against the Marshall Thundering Herd. This line is out on a few of the sportsbooks, and all of them hover around the 39.5-point mark that DraftKings has it at.

The Dawgs don’t typically cover these huge betting lines, but this one is just small enough that an explosive offensive performance on Aug. 30 may be enough for Georgia to start 1-0 against the spread in 2025. Georgia will undoubtedly be huge favorites in their home matchups against Austin Peay and Charlotte in addition to the Marshall game.

(-5.5) @ Tennessee

Georgia’s first road test will come early in the year on a week three trip to Knoxville. Tennessee has been in the headlines for bad reasons this offseason, mostly surrounding its quarterback situation. The Volunteers now have to restart at the most important position on the field when that was not in the original plan.

The Bulldogs have beaten Tennessee by at least two touchdowns in each of the last eight matchups. The Dawgs have been even more successful in Neyland Stadium than at home during that stretch.

(-4) Vs. Alabama

Alabama will travel to play Georgia in Athens for the first time since 2015. That home field advantage will make Georgia the favorites. Last year’s game between the two was as dramatic as they come. This will be Georgia’s first opportunity to take a crack at Alabama at home since Smart took over the program.

Both teams have been a little difficult to predict with all of the roster turnover, but they will likely both be national championship contenders. This will be the biggest home game for Georgia in years.

(-7.5) @ Auburn

Georgia’s last game in Auburn did not get decided until the waning minutes of the game. On the back of Brock Bowers, Georgia escaped the plains with a 27-20 win.

This is the smallest line for Georgia in a few trips out to Auburn. The Tigers are expected to take a step forward from its 5-7 2024 season under Hugh Freeze.

(-9.5) Vs. Ole Miss

Last season, Ole Miss beat Georgia 28-10 in the rain and rushed the field. Georgia couldn’t function on offense outside of a touchdown drive in the first quarter on a short field.

In 2023, Georgia and Ole Miss clashed in Sanford Stadium under the lights, and Georgia crushed the Rebels 52-17. Both teams will look much different this season, with key talent on both sides headed to the next level.

(-9.5) Vs. Florida

This line may shrink as the season goes on if Florida takes the step forward many project it to under second-year quarterback DJ Lagway. The Gators led Georgia when he was in the game in 2024, and the Dawgs slowly clawed their way to a two touchdown victory after he left with a hamstring injury.

The Dawgs will take on the Gators in Jacksonville as it traditionally has the season before taking a two-year hiatus in Tampa Bay and Atlanta while the Jaguars renovate their stadium.

(-12.5) Vs. Georgia Tech

Georgia will match up against the Yellow Jackets on Black Friday again, this time in Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. Georgia did not cover a big line against Georgia Tech a year ago. Escaping Tech in eight overtimes.

Georgia is clearly expected to bounce back from that upset scare and beat Georgia Tech by about two scores this time.
