According to FanDuel, the Georgia Bulldogs have +700 odds to win the national championship in 2025

As a run defender, Jones doesn’t shy away from contact. He strikes the ball-carrier with authority and does a job job of hitting behind his pads. He also shows the ability to wrap up properly and make a big tackle in the open field.

Overall, Jones is an active defender in the back end up can make big plays in coverage while giving the Dawgs a consistent tackler against the run. He really shined as a junior last fall where he made 42 tackles and four INTs. His recruitment took off this winter, and now he’s committed to the in-state Georgia Bulldogs.

The 6-foot-0 180-pounder is ranked as a three-star prospect and one of the top safety prospects in the state.

Why did Jones commit to Georgia?

“The connection they have within the coaching staff really stands out”, Jones told Dawg Post. “From head coach to graduate assistants, I can tell it’s a family feel at UGA.”

The Bulldogs now have six commitments in the 2026 class as he joins four-star WR Vance Spafford‍, four-star DB Zechariah Fort‍, three-star WR Brady Marchese‍, three-star DL Seven Cloud‍, and three-star TE Lincoln Keyes‍.
