ATHENS - The Gunner Stockton era is off and running in Athens right now with capable backup Ryan Puglisi waiting in the wings for the future.

After that, the quarterback spot is a question mark. The Bulldogs did sign two quarterbacks in the 2025 class in four-star Ryan Montgomery‍ and three-star Hezekiah Millender‍, but it’s clear the staff is going for the best of the best in this 2026 class.

At one point, Mike Bobo had a commitment from 5-star gunslinger, Jared Curtis‍, the No. 1 QB prospect in the 2026 class, but Curtis decided to open his recruitment back up on October 17th. It was a tough loss, but it’s clear the staff is still making him a top priority. Curtis hosted Mike Bobo last week for an in-home visit and got a visit from Georgia head coach Kirby Smart on Thursday.

As a junior last fall, Curtis threw for 2,830 yards and 40 touchdowns with just three INTs. He also ran for 637 yards and 18 touchdowns. The 6-foot-4 225-pounder is ranked as the No. 4 overall prospect in the country and someone Georgia fans need to keep a close eye on. He’ll be in Athens for a big official visit in mid-June.

DON’T FORGET YOUR FANDUEL BETS!!

According to FanDuel, LSU quarterback Garrett Nussmeier has great +800 odds to win the 2025 Heisman Trophy next season.

Then there’s five-star Dia Bell‍. The elite 6-foot-3 190-pounder out of American Heritage (FL) earned an offer from Georgia last week after a visit with offensive coordinator Mike Bobo. Bell committed to Texas back on June 17th and is coming off a terrific junior season where he threw for 2,600 yards and 29 touchdowns. He also ran for 561 more yards on the ground with five more scores. More importantly, he helped lead the Patriots to a Class 4A state championship. Bell is ranked as the No.4 QB prospect and the No. 13 overall prospect in the country.

Now, there’s a new quarterback offer out to elite Houston Cougars commitment, Keisean Henderson‍. The athletic, playmaking quarterback threw for 2,689 yards and 25 touchdowns last season for Legacy (TX) with 341 rushing yards and seven more touchdowns. He brings outstanding arm talent and impressive ball placement down the field. He throws a catchable deep ball with enough speed and mobility to make plays with his legs. He’s dynamic and athletic enough to make plays out of the pocket when things break down. He stands at a lean 6-foot-3 175-pounds and currently ranked as the No. 5 QB prospect and the No. 18 overall prospect in the country.

Another impressive quarterback who earned a Bulldog offer this month is four-star, Landon Duckworth‍. The promising dual-threat passer was exceptional as a junior last fall for Jackson (AL), leading them to a state championship after throwing for 3,439 passing yards and 39 touchdowns to go along with 648 rushing yards and 12 more touchdowns on the ground. He accounted for 4,87 total yards and 51 total touchdowns. The 6-foot-3 190-pounder earned an offer from the Bulldogs back on January 8th and is ranked as the No. 11 QB prospect and the No 130 overall prospect in the country.
