ATHENS - After signing two quarterbacks in the 2025 recruiting class, Kirby Smart, Mike Bobo, and the Georgia Bulldogs are looking to sign one of the nation’s best in this current 2026 cycle.

They’re still hard-after five-star Jared Curtis‍, a former commitment from Nashville, but this week they extended an offer to five-star Texas Longhorns quarterback commitment, Dia Bell‍.

The big 6-foot-3 190-pounder out of American Heritage (FL) committed to Texas back on June 17th and is coming off a terrific junior season where he threw for 2,600 yards and 29 touchdowns while rushing for 561 more yards on the ground with five more scores. More importantly, he helped lead the Patriots to a Class 4A state championship.

DON’T FORGET YOUR FANDUEL BETS!!

According to FanDuel, the Georgia Bulldogs have -205 odds to win over 9.5 games in 2025.

On tape, Bell shows poise in the pocket, balanced footwork, and natural arm talent. He can throw with touch, but he also has the ability to rip the ball down the field in tight windows. He has a quick release, impressive ball placement, and consistent accuracy, completing more than 70% of his passes last year. Playing against some of the best competition across the country, Bell made big throws all year long as a junior, showing outstanding maturity, leadership, and a high football IQ. He understands the position, takes care of the football, and can make college-level throws all over the field.

Bell is currently ranked as the No. 4 QB prospect and the No. 13 overall prospect in the country.

The Bulldogs currently have four commitments in the 2026 class that includes four-star wide receiver Vance Spafford‍, four-star defensive back Jontavius Wyman‍, three-star Lincoln Keyes‍, and three-star defensive lineman Seven Cloud‍.
