ATHENS - Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs got some good news this week as multi-year starting cornerback Daylen Everette announced via social media on Friday that he’ll be returning to Athens for the 2025 season.

The former five-star defensive back has had an up-and-down Bulldog career but started to play better and better as the 2024 season went along.

The veteran cornerback made 45 tackles this past season with three INTs and two forced fumbles. He started all 13 games in 2024 and was named a Coaches Third Team All-SEC selection. He had a career-high 10 tackles against Georgia Tech and made a giant impact in both games against the Texas Longhorns.

DON’T FORGET YOUR FANDUEL BETS!!!

According to FanDuel, the Baltimore Ravens are 9.5-point favorites over the Pittsburgh Steelers this weekend in the first round of the NFL playoffs.

In his three-year Bulldog career, Everette has made 100 total tackles and four INTs. With the Bulldogs losing several key contributors on defense, Everette coming back is a massive win for the Bulldog staff who now have an experienced playmaker on defense coming back for one final season.

Other cornerbacks to know for the spring include Ellis Robinson, Demello Jones, Ondre Evans, Chris Peal, and several impressive incoming freshmen.
