ATHENS - According to a report from Athens Banner-Herald’s Marc Weiszer, suspended Georgia football wide receiver Colbie Young is back working with the team and took part in team meetings on Monday.
This is the first time Young has been involved with the team since his arrest on October 8th with misdemeanor charges of battery and assault on an unborn child, charges that could be dismissed.
Young has caught 11 passes for 149 yards and two touchdowns this season, but it’s unclear, and probably unlikely, that Young will return to the field this season.
Still, it’s worth noting that he’s involved with the team again.
The Bulldogs will host rival Georgia Tech inside Sanford Stadium on Friday night at 7:30 on ABC.
