ATHENS - UGA Football WR Colbie Young was arrested Tuesday morning by Athens-Clarke County police on misdemeanor charges of battery and assault on an unborn child.
Young was still in custody as of 8:30 AM Tuesday morning. He’s scored two touchdowns in 2024 with 11 catches for 149 yards so far in 2024. UGA has not issued a formal statment to Dawg Post regarding the matter.
UGA coach Kirby Smart has a regularly-scheduled press availability Tuesday evening.
