Georgia-Auburn Kickoff Time Is Set | Dawgs-Tigers on Oct. 5 on ABC

ATHENS - UGA Football is set to play Auburn at 3:30 PM EST in Athens on Oct. 5.
The game will be broadcasted on ABC. This was a flex game that could have been scheduled for a night kick. Instead, Kirby Smart and Georgia will take on Hugh Freeze and the Auburn Tigers in what used to be the time slot reserved for the best SEC game on CBS.
With the new television contracts, the best SEC games will almost always be at night, with some good alternative matchups at noon. The best B1G will be featured at 3:30 PM EST on CBS, just like it used to be with the SEC.

The Southeastern Conference announced the kickoff times for week 6 on social media on Monday.
Oct. 5 SEC TV Schedule:
- Missouri at Texas A&M at Noon EST on ABC
- Auburn at Georgia at 3:30 PM EST on ABC
- Ole Miss at South Carolina at 3:30 PM EST on ESPN
- Alabama at Vanderbilt at 4:15 PM EST on SEC Network
- Tennessee at Arkansas at 7:00 or 7:30 PM EST on ESPN or ABC
- UCF at Florida at 7:45 PM EST on SEC Network
Georgia’s game with Auburn has been at 3:30 PM EST each of the last three seasons. Auburn has had a rough start to the season with losses at home to both California and Arkansas. The Tigers have another matchup at home this weekend against ranked Oklahoma, who just got handled by Tennessee.
Georgia has four more games that are considered a flex game with the kickoff time. The kick could be either afternoon or night against Mississippi State, Texas, Ole Miss and Tennessee. The rest of Georgia’s kickoff times have already been announced.
