ATHENS - Texas jumped UGA Football for the No. 1 ranking in this week’s edition of the college football AP Top 25.
Georgia made a strong case after week one to hold on to the preseason ranking it was given. Kirby Smart’s squad destroyed Clemson 34-3.
The Dawgs held onto the No. 1 spot after beating FCS school Tennessee Tech the following Saturday.
