ATHENS - According to Athens-Clarke County public records, Georgia Bulldog defensive back Daniel Harris was arrested on Thursday night on charges of reckless driving, no proof of insurance, driving an unregistered vehicle, and more.

The Miami, Florida native has been pushing hard for playing time and has seen the field in both games so far, playing 45 total defensive snaps. The sure-tackling defender has made four tackles so far this season and has been reliable in coverage.

The 6-foot-2 190-pound Bulldog defender made two tackles in last week’s win over Tennessee Tech and is one of the first defensive backs off the bench.

Kirby Smart’s Bulldogs will head to Lexington this weekend to take on the Kentucky Wildcats. The Dawgs are currently 2-0 and have not lost to Kentucky since 2009.
