ATHENS - UGA Football fell from No. 1 football team in the country after a one-point win at Kentucky on Saturday night. Kirby Smart’s No. 2 Bulldogs have the week off before taking on No. 4 Alabama on the road.

Texas got 35 first-place votes to Georgia’s 23. Ohio State remained at No. 3. Alabama and Ole Miss closed out the top five. This is the first week of the year the Bulldogs have not been ranked as the top team in the land.
