ATLANTA - It wasn’t a home game, but it felt like it in many ways as Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs throttled Clemson in Mercedes-Benz Stadium last weekend.

The Dawgs dominated, the crowd was in attendance, and recruits were impressed.

Here’s what a few commitments and targets had to say after Georgia’s dominant win over the Clemson Tigers.

Of course, we’ll add more quotes to this story as we get them...

4-star TE commit Ethan Barbour‍:

“During the recruiting process, other schools always talked about how you can’t play as a freshman at Georgia, but the fact that both KJ and Nate got so many reps as freshmen is seriously impressive. And those halftime adjustments? That’s a major shoutout to our coaching staff. Not sure how many yards of total offense we had, but our offense totally crushed Clemson’s defense in the second half, and our defense smashed them the whole game. Also, Delp and Luckie were absolutely killing it. It’s awesome to see the TEs still playing such a big role in the offense.”

4-star EDGE Darren Ikinnagbon‍:

“I thought it was a great defensive performance in the 1st half and then making the 2nd half adjustments to win the game. The DL did great causing multiple pressure and problems for the Clemson qb and making him uncomfortable in the pocket.”

According to FanDuel, the Houston Texans have +100 odds to win the AFC South upcoming season.

4-star WR commit Tyler Williams‍:

“Very good to see the loud atmosphere. It felt like a home game and both sides of the ball played well. The defense dominated and helped give the offense some chances to capitalize and put points up.”

3-star DL commit Stephon Shivers‍:

“They had an outstanding great game the DL didn’t come to play they attacked and got after the ball.”

3-star WR commit Landon Roldan‍:

Georgia put on a show on both sides of the ball, I feel like the receivers did a good job of getting open and making plays with the ball in their hands.

4-star DB commit Jontavius Wyman‍ (2026):

“They played very well as a team! Executed everything to perfection! The DBs played phenomenally! I liked what I saw out of Malaki and KJ!”

5-star LB Tyler Atkinson‍ (2026)

“The Dawgs know how to fight!!! I really like the way coach Schumann runs the Defense and how the LBs play! Love seeing my guys out there, too, #4, #11, & #13.”
