ATHENS - Stacy Searels and the Georgia Bulldogs have landed a late addition to the 2024 class.
That would be giant, fast-rising offensive tackle, Jahzare Jackson.
A former basketball prospect at 6-foot-10 347-pounds, Jackson had dreams of playing in the NBA as a dominant basketball prospect in California, but now, Jackson’s future will be on the gridiron as he has committed to play for Stacy Searels and the Georgia Bulldogs today over Florida State, Florida, Arkansas, and Mississippi State.

According to FanDuel, the Boston Red Sox have +4000 odds to win the World Series next season.
He may be close to 350-pounds, but Jackson carries it extremely well. He brings elite length, great footwork, and an outstanding work ethic. The promising offensive tackle has done a great job of focusing on football and ended up winning over Searels and showing he can absolutely turn into an impactful tackle at the next level.
He’s worked his butt off this spring and summer to earn a spot in Georgia’s already loaded 2024 class, and now he gives Searels and the Dawgs a giant tackle prospect who is only scratching the surface of his potential. He carries his weight extremely well due to his height, and if he continues to develop and work on his technique, Jackson has the potential to grow into a reliable right tackle down the road. He’s still raw, but his ceiling is extremely high. He’s a fantastic athlete for his size and gives Georgia another big body in the trenches.
The San Diego, California native now gives Georgia seven offensive linemen in their already elite 2024 recruiting class. It was already a big group, and Jackson is the biggest of the bunch. If he develops the right way, the sky is the limit for this former basketball star.
