ATHENS - UGA Football DB Javon Bullard was picked No. 58 overall by the Green Bay Packers in the 2024 NFL Draft in Detroit.

Javon Bullard saved his best performances for when the lights were the brightest.

Bullard's career at Georgia was highlighted by his two-interception performance against TCU to conclude the 2022 season. But that's not all Bullard did that season. He starter ten games and had 46 tackles. He was also named the MVP of the Peach Bowl - a game where he cleanly knocked out Ohio State's Marvin Harrison to prevent a touchdown (Ohio State fans the e-mail is dean@dawgpost.com).

Against high-flying No. 1 Tennessee earlier in 2022, Bullard ended the game with six tackles and a pass breakup. He was a major part of the Dawgs' routine win over the Vols that afternoon in Athens - a game that thrust Georgia to being the unanimous No. 1 team in the country.

How to describe Javon Bullard in a sentence? He went from recruiting afterthought to College Football Playoff National Championship Game MVP - not bad for a three star.
