ATHENS - Former South Carolina DL Xzavier McLeod picked Kirby Smart’s UGA Football on Friday. 

McLeod is using the NCAA’s transfer portal to switch from South Carolina to UGA. 2024 is the first time since 1991 that the Gamecocks and Bulldogs don’t meet on the field. 

The move is a critical and helpful one for Kirby and the Dawgs.
