ATHENS - UGA Football now knows when it will travel to play the Alabama Crimson Tide and Texas Longhorns in 2024.
The Bulldogs are set to play Alabama on September 28 in Tuscaloosa. UGA will travel to Austin for the first time since 1958 to take on the Longhorns in that program’s inaugural season in the SEC.
ESPN reported those two dates and a slew of other games on Monday night. ESPN’s parent company, Disney, has the exclusive rights to all SEC home games from 2024 until 2036. A source at Disney confirmed to the reporting to Dawg Post Monday night.
No. 1 Georgia is set to take on No. 8 Alabama on Saturday in the SEC Championship Game in Atlanta. The game will be the final broadcast of longtime partner CBS, which lost the rights to broadcast all SEC games to Disney in 2020.

Georgia’s 2024 season might be one of the most difficult in school history. The Bulldogs will play their three traditional rivals - Tech, Auburn and the Gators - along with old foes Kentucky, Clemson, Ole Miss and Tennessee. Mississippi State will travel to Athens in 2024 as well.
Georgia’s game with Clemson will start the season at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta for the Aflac Kickoff Game on Saturday, August 31. Georgia’s next known scheduled game is on September 14 against Tennessee Tech in Athens.
