ATHENS - Kirby Smart and No. 1 UGA football are off to Atlanta to take on Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets this Saturday night in Clean Old Fashioned Hate. Here is what will happen this weekend for the Dawgs and all over college football... according to the Dawg Post crew.

No. 12 Ole Miss (-11) at State | ESPN |7:30 PM, Thursday

Matt’s Pick: As much as I want to see some chaos in the Egg Bowl, I just don’t see it happening this year. State’s having a miserable season and the Rebels are looking for revenge from last year. Ole Miss wins big on the road. Ole Miss (-11).

Ryan’s Pick: I am going to take a late Ole Miss (-11) cover in this one. But I am rooting for the wackiest game possible. I want excessive celebrations. I want cowbells thrown. I want grandmas screaming Hotty Toddy in little Mississippi State fans' faces. Let me enjoy my Thanksgiving.

Dean’s Pick: I can't wait for this game. This is the only reason I tolerate being around in-laws or family on Thanksgiving. The notion that we are going to watch Hallmark movies on Thanksgiving... what is happening right now? Give me the remote - and give me the Rebels (-11) to cover this line at State.

No. 15 Oregon State (+14) at No. 6 Oregon | FOX |8:30 PM, Friday

Matt’s Pick: Man, that’s a lot of point. I know the Beavers are on the road, but they’re too well coached and have too good of a team to get blown out by their biggest rival. The Ducks are better and will win this game at home, but the Beavers will make them earn it. Oregon State (+14).

Ryan’s Pick: It’s a big line but I’ve got Oregon (-14). Oregon looks like a playoff team. The numbers back that up big time. I think this game will be a fight for a while, with the Ducks pulling away in the second half.

Dean’s Pick: I hope to have the ability to watch the end of this game on Friday night, but we will see. I've got to go out and see some prospects for the Dawgs. Oregon is playing well, and I just don't see the Beavers slowing them down enough, so I will take the Ducks (-14) to cover a non-inconsequential line in Seattle.

No. 2 Ohio State (+4) at Michgan | FOX |12:00 PM

Matt’s Pick: I think this line is about right. I don’t trust Kyle McCord, who isn’t great on the road, to go into Ann Arbor and lead the Buckeyes to victory, but I’m expecting a close game. I don’t like the 4 points, so I’ll take the Buckeyes here. I can see Michigan winning by 3, but that last point makes me nervous. Give me Ohio State (+4).

Ryan’s Pick: I think this is gonna be tight with Michigan scoring a late touchdown to win. I’m lower on Michigan after the struggle fest with Maryland, but Ohio State hasn’t scored with ease on good defenses. Ohio State’s offense has been clicking more of late, but the Wolverines have one of the top defenses in the country. I don’t feel as great  about this pick as I did before, but I have Michigan (-4) covering.

Dean’s Pick: We've finally get to see what happens when America's Team goes up against Ol' Due Process. I wonder how many people want both teams to lose - I bet (am I allowed to use that, or is that copyrighted by UM now?) it isn't lower than 75% of Americans. These two are something else. One is cheating, and is now passively admitting they did so... the other is Ohio State. The Big Ten scandal machine is something else.

The play in that league is not - Big Ten football is ugly, and has seemingly gotten there in a season. I am going to take the Buckeyes (+4) on the road. I don't think a straight-up win is out of the question.

No. 8 Alabama (-14.5) at Auburn | CBS |3:30 PM

Matt’s Pick: This is another line I hate. That .5 is a big difference. I want to think Auburn keeps it close at home, but give me Alabama to cover towards the end. They’re better than Auburn by a lot, and they should be able to win by at least 15. Alabama (-14.5).

Ryan’s Pick: Losing to New Mexico State at home just shouldn’t happen. Losing to New Mexico State shouldn’t happen. I know it’s at Auburn and the records don’t matter in this one, but Alabama is playing really well and a game like last week’s loss will be hard to move on from. Alabama (-14.5) will handle business in this Iron Bowl.

Dean’s Pick: Speaking of teams no one likes, here comes Alabama's trip to Auburn. New Mexico State's visit to Jordan-Hare went fine, and that's what I expect for the Tide as well. Give me Nick Saban's Alabama (-14.5) to cover the line.

No. 5 Florida State (-6.5) at Florida | ESPN |7:00 PM

Matt’s Pick: Florida’s coming off a tough loss on the road to Missouri, but Jordan Travis is out for the Noles. I’m going back and forth with this one, but I think the Noles have just enough talent to get the job done on the road. If it’s 7.5 I’d take Florida, but State can win this game by a touchdown. Florida State (-6.5).

Ryan’s Pick: You know what, give me Florida (+6.5). Florida State is not one of the four best teams in the country. I have felt strongly about that all year, and I’ve been predicting their eventual blunder. Now, rivalry week is here and the Seminoles are entering The Swamp at night without Jordan Travis. It’s upset time.

Dean’s Pick: I'd be wary of this one if I am the Noles. Going to the Swamp. We don't have our starting QB. This is a trap. Better to lose Jordan Travis "before" the UF game than "during" the UF game. I am going to take FSU (-6.5) here, but they are not one of the best four teams in the nation. We will see if that matters over these next two weekends or not.

Taters (-7) at South Carolina | SECN |7:30 PM

Matt’s Pick: Carolina’s quietly playing a little better. At home, at night, give me the Gamecocks to fight hard and keep this one close until the end. Rattler could have a big game, and the crowd could make a big impact. This could be a season-saving type of game for Carolina, so I’m expecting them to play like it. South Carolina (+7).

Ryan’s Pick: South Carolina (+7) is the way to go here. Clemson just won a couple games, they’re feeling good over there. South Carolina has been disappointing this season. I really thought this could be an 8-win team that fought hard in the east. I am predicting a big game for Spencer Rattler.

Dean’s Pick: There's nothing like Columbia on a Saturday night. Strap on your seatbelts tight. Neither of these teams are worth a chicken poop - the real question is which of the two head coaches is the most sanctimonious. That's going to be a real fight, and that will likely be the case on the field, too. The Taters are road favorites, but they've just not been consistent this season. South Carolina is doing all it can to get to a bowl game. Both of these teams' seasons have been a disappointment. Imagine how sour the loser of this game will be. Give me the Cocks (+7) and the points.

No. 1 Georgia (-23) at Georgia Tech| ABC |7:30 PM

Matt’s Pick: Dawgs role big here. They’re on a mission. They’re basically playing another road game. They want to make teams quit, and the Jackets will be wanting to quit by the end of the 3rd quarter. Georgia wins big in Atlanta. Dawgs (-23).

Ryan’s Pick: Georgia is rolling right now and as improved as Tech might be, it is still a far worse team than the one in Athens. It will be an interesting atmosphere with the late kickoff, and I think the Dawgs (-23) will stroll to an easy cover.

Dean’s Pick: Georgia is the best team in the nation, and I'm not sure there is much debate about that. But the Jackets are getting a ton of points on the road in Atlanta. Give me the Jackets (+23) in a game that won't be close to close.
