ATHENS - As expected, the UGA Football remained the No. 1 team in the country in the latest AP Poll. This comes a day after Kirby Smart and the top-ranked Bulldogs hammered the Gators 43-20 and took the week off before the big showdown with the Gators on Saturday.
The No. 1 Dawgs had the week off before the Cocktail Party. Missouri is up next. The winner of the 3:30 game on CBS will likely go on to win the SEC East. Kansas took out previously undefeated Oklahoma at home. Both Ohio State and Penn State were sloppy in wins.
Alabama and LSU will fight in primetime in a matchup that will likley determine the winner of the SEC West. ESPN will broadcast the first College Football Playoff committee rankings on Tuesday night.
