ATHENS - Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs continue to stay hot on the recruiting trail.
This time they add a commitment from 4-star Jordan Thomas.
One of the top interior defensive line prospects in the Northeast, the New Jersey native is coming off an official visit to Georgia over the weekend and wasted no time in “Committing to the G”, giving the Bulldogs another much-needed defensive lineman in the 2024 class.
Thomas had plans to take an official visit to Michigan and South Carolina this week, but that no longer appears to be the case as he’s now fully committed to Georgia.
Thomas earned an offer from Tray Scott and the Bulldogs over a year ago and has been trending Georgia’s way for some time now.
Now, the big 6-foot-5 325-pounder is on the commit list.

What are the Bulldogs getting in Thomas?
Size. And plenty of it.
Thomas is a space-eater who will clog running lanes in the middle of Georgia’s defensive line.
He’s tough to handle for just one lineman and can shed blocks with ease. He plays with power and can also find his way into the backfield. He didn’t exactly light up the stat sheet last year as a junior, but he still made a giant impact.
Whether he was eating blocks or creating pressure on the quarterback, his presence was known early and often. He uses his hands well to gain leverage on opposing tackles, has a great bull rush, and can swat away passes at the line of scrimmage.
He uses his big hands to get in the middle of throwing lanes, and can be a true force in the middle of Georgia’s defensive line from the interior.
The Bulldogs needed a big man in the middle, and now they have one in Thomas.
He gives Georgia their second defensive line commitment in the 2024 class, joining 4-star Justin Greene.
Thomas is ranked in the On3 Industry Rankings as the number 18 DL prospect, the No. 1 prospect in New Jersey, and the No. 122 overall prospect in the county.
