ATHENS - Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs are hitting the recruiting trail hard this week, and on Tuesday the staff extended offers to two in-state freshman wide receivers.
One of them was dynamic playmaker, Aaron Gregory. According to Dawg Post, Gregory is the No. 11 overall prospect in Georgia for the 2026 class.
Arguably the best young prospect in Augusta last year, Gregory played his freshman season last year at Augusta Christian School but has since transferred to Douglas County in Douglassville. The 6-foot-2 170-pounder is an excellent route-runner with strong hands and natural big-play ability.
Gregory already holds offers from Auburn, Arkansas, Kentucky, Boston College, among others, and now he has an offer from the in-state Georgia Bulldogs. A bigger, longer receiver for his age, Gregory’s ball skills are phenomenal for someone who just finished his freshman season. He plays the ball well in the air and knows how to catch the ball at its highest point. He showed quick feet in and out of his breaks, good burst, and he’s dangerous after the catch.
Gregory caught 32 passes as a freshman for 271 yards and three touchdowns, but don’t let the stats fool you. He’s dominated during the camp circuit this spring and is bound for a gigantic sophomore season.
Gregory is familiar with Athens and the football program, and gave Dawg Post some thoughts about his latest offer.
“I was very excited and shocked”, Gregory said. “I’ve been to a practice, camp, and regular season game and I like the ‘practice how you play’ mentality. Practice was fast paced. Know your plays or get out of the way. You have to be on your toes the entire time, going 100%. The full practice and camps are ran the same way. No plays off!”

Another receiver who earned a Bulldog offer this week was Kennesaw Mountain speedster, Nalin Scott, who was offered by Todd Hartley on Tuesday.
Scott is a young wideout with size and speed. At 6-foot-3 200-pounds, Scott is a vertical threat who knows how to break tackles after the catch. He didn’t light up the stat sheet, but again, he was just a freshman. Still, the talent, and size is easy to see.
The young Mustang playmaker caught 18 passes for 278 yards, an average of 15.4 yards per reception, and three touchdowns. He’s a young freshman to know, and his recruitment is about to explode this spring.
