ATHENS - The injury bug continues to haunt Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs this spring.
Running back Kendall Milton injured his hamstring last week, forcing him to miss the remainder of spring practice, and now starting defensive lineman Mykel Williams has been hit with the injury bug.
According to Jed May of UGASports.com, Georgia’s star defender will miss the remainder of spring practice due to a foot injury that he has since had surgery on. Sources say Williams shouldn’t be out long and should be 100% healthy in time for fall camp.

The former 5-star prospect out of Hardaway High School in Columbus had a monster freshman season where he made 28 tackles, 6.5 TFLs, and 4.5 sacks. An outstanding pass rusher, Williams also made 31 QB hurries on the season.
Williams had a sack in both the CFP Semi-Final game against Ohio State and in the CFP National Championship game against TCU, playing better and better as the 2022 season went on.
The 6-foot-5 265-pounder started in just two games last year, but played consistently in just about every game during Georgia’s national championship season. He’s one of the top returning defeendeers on the team, but he’ll be missing the rest of the spring.
