ATHENS - Former Georgia Bulldogs QB Stetson Bennett showed off for NFL Scouts Wednesday during the program’s annual Pro Day.
Bennett started the Bulldogs’ move out of the weight room and onto the field for the event. Bennett is considered a mid-to-late round draft pick by a consensus of draft analysts. He was able to throw in front of nearly the entire league for the second time this month.
The NFL Draft starts on April 27 in Kansas City. Bennett, like a slew of Georgia players, was in town Wednesday to continue the process leading up to the Draft. Former Bulldogs participated in a slew of drills including the broad jump, 40-yard dash, L drill and position drills.
Bennett’s throws were the focus of many in attendance.

ESPN’s Mel Kiper said a week ago that Bennett was moving up the board in the NFL Draft. Kiper listed Bennett and Georgia Bulldogs LB Nolan Smith among his 2023 NFL combine risers.
“I thought Bennett had an outstanding workout Saturday, both in the passing drills and in the athletic testing,” Kiper wrote Monday. “Since he didn't play in an all-star game after his season ended, this was the first time NFL teams have gotten to see him up close. He threw the ball very well. He ran a better-than-expected 4.67 40-yard dash.”
