BREAKING: Georgia Bulldogs' Glenn Schumann Makes Decision on 2023 Season

ATHENS - Georgia Bulldogs co-defensive coordinator Glenn Schumann will serve in the same role in 2023, ESPN reported Monday.
Schumann took an interview with the NFL’s Philadelphia Eagles last week. Schumann. 32-years old, Schumann helped Smart's Georgia Bulldogs go 15-0 on the way to a second national title in-a-row.
Schumann came with Kirby from Alabama when he left the Tide after the 2015 season to coach linebackers under Mel Tucker in 2016.
Since that time Schumann has slowly risen to the top of Georgia's defense - running the show with Will Muschamp last fall. If Schumann were to leave for the NFL, Muschamp would be in line to be the sole defensive coordinator barring another promotion or hiring.

@GeorgiaFootball, sources tell ESPN. That’s big news for the Dawgs. Schumann was co-DC and called plays last year for two-time defending champs. Georgia had already lost OC Todd Monken to NFL,” ESPN’s Chris Low reported Monday.
During Schumann’s time with UGA, the Bulldogs have won two SEC titles, two national titles, a Rose Bowl Game, the Orange Bowl, the Peach Bowl (2) and the Sugar Bowl. He has sent a slew of linebackers to the NFL, most noteably Roquan Smith.
Dell McGee and Schumann are the only two remaining orignal members of Kirby Smart’s staff at Georgia.
