ATHENS - Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs knocked out the No. 1 Tennessee Vols 27-13 at Sanford Stadium Saturday, and now UGA has released a behind-the-scenes look at the win.

“Look me in the eye,” Kirby told his team before the game. “No where to run, and no where to hide. Four Quarters. They have to See us. They have to look us in the eye for four quarters.”

The Dawgs used their lethal defense to hold Tennessee’s powerful offense in check the entire day. Georgia jumped out to a 24-3 halftime lead, and the Vols never got into the game in the second half as rain soaked a packed Sanford Stadium as the night drew closer and the game ended.

It was Georgia’s second win in a row over a team ranked No. 1 in the College Football Playoff Rankings. That committee’s rankings took a beating this weekend with No. 3 Georgia demolishing the so-called No. 1 Vols. Clemson, which was ranked at No. 4, lost by 21 on the road at unranked Notre Dame. No. 10 LSU beat No. 6 Alabama in overtime at Death Valley.

Three top-ten CFP teams lost to teams ranked below them.

“Prove it,” UGA OL coach Stacy Searles screamed to his linemen before the game. “Who is the best team?”

“Feed off this energy,” Georgia DL Jalen Carter told his teammates on the sideline.

Moments later highlights show Carter forcing a fumble in the end zone.

“This place rocking,” injured LB Nolan Smith told the camera.

'Appreciate you believing in me," Kelee Ringo told Kirby while hugging him after the win. "Thank you for believing in me."

Georgia travels to Mississippi State to play the other Bulldogs Saturday night on ESPN. The No. 1 Dawgs are listed as a 16.5-point favorite as of Tuesday morning.
