ATHENS - The Georgia Bulldogs’ annual game with the Auburn Tigers will be at 3:30 on CBS on October 8th as Sanford Stadium.
The SEC announced the game time Monday. The Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry is part of a double-header Saturday on CBS that had a nightcap featuring the Alabama-Texas A&M game from Tuscaloosa.
Georgia’s all-time record on CBS is 66-45-1.
The move to put UGA-Auburn at 3:30 was expected, but came under some pressure after Tennessee’s win over Florida on Saturday. The undefeated Vols have the week off before traveling to LSU. Tennessee is ranked in the top ten for the first time since 2006.
That game is scheduled to be broadcast at noon on ESPN. According to FanDuel, the Bulldogs currently have -115 odds to win the SEC this season.

Georiga is expected to be a significant favorite to beat Auburn in Athens. The Bulldogs have won the last five games in the series, including last year’s 34-10 win at Auburn. Tom McCarthy, Rick Neuheisel along with reporter Sherree Burruss will crew the game for CBS.
Georgia-Auburn is one of the most-watched rivalries in college football. Over the last ten seasons the two have combined to play in front of 60,008,000 viewers. The game is the No. 10 most-watched game of college football in that time.
Georgia (No. 4 - 571,816,559) and Auburn (No. 9 - 432,296,000) are two of the biggest brands in the sport. Their total viewership over the last ten years is over one billion combined.
