ATHENS - Are the Georgia Bulldogs FINALLY trending for a star prospect out of Buford?

The powerhouse program in Gwinnett County hasn’t been kind to Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs over the years, but that trend could come to a screeching halt in the 2024 class.

The Wolves have multiple Georgia targets on their roster in the 2024 class and one of them is 5-star ATH, KJ Bolden‍.

The No. 2 prospect in Georgia according to Dawg Post and a consensus 5-star prospect across the industry, Bolden is a dynamic two-way prospect who excels both as a receiver and a defensive back. Bolden is electric with the ball in his hands and brings track-star speed to the gridiron.

Dawg Post has been hearing for several weeks that the Bulldogs sit in an excellent position Bolden, who was back in Athens for a visit this past weekend.

“What makes UGA special is that the coaches show me in every aspect that I’m their top priority”, Bolden told Dawg Post. “They need me and not just want me. UGA has great academics and a lot of support on and off the field to help me grow and become a better man day by day.”

“My favorite part of the visit was interacting and spending time with all the coaches and their families”, Bolden added.  “I’m very family oriented so that’s big for me.”

Bolden could play both receiver and defensive back at the next level, and it looks like the Georgia staff will have a fight on their hands for the Buford star.

“Georgia’s recruiting me to play on both sides of the ball.”

A speedy playmaker on offense and an excellent safety prospect on defense, it’s easy to see why staffs across the country are fighting for the 6-foot-1 185-pounder. He has length, ball skills, and knows how to run. He’s a true weapon on both sides of the ball, and that’s why he’s one of the top overall 2024 prospects in the country.

Bolden is ranked by the 247 Composite as the No. 4 prospect in the country, and Dawg Post believes the Bulldogs are currently the team to beat in his recruitment.
