ATHENS - It was camp season in Athens last week as Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs hosted multiple 7-on-7 camps in hopes of finding new prospects to target for the future.

As it always happens, new prospects shined and earned an offer from the Georgia Bulldogs after impressing in front of the staff.

Here are some new prospects who earned a recent offer from Georgia...

Sacovie White - WR - Cass (GA)

One of the top 2024 two-way players in North Georgia, White showed big-play ability and really impressed during Georgia’s 7-on-7 camp this week, earning an offer from the in-state Georgia Bulldogs before leaving campus. The dynamic wideout showed the ability to snag the ball out of the air and knows how to jump over defenders in jump-ball situations. He’s put on a good bit of muscle recently, so even as a rising junior, he looks the part of a future SEC receiver. He’s always had impressive speed, and he used it during the camp to consistently get enough behind the defense for a big plays. At 5-foot-10 165-pounds, White is agile, quick, and has shown that he’s one of the top young pass catchers in the 2024 class.

“It was very shocking”, White said about the Georgia offer. “The whole day I felt like it was coming but when coach Monken told me the news I was speechless!! UGA is ranking very high for me the number #1 school for me right now.”

Ethan Barbour - Alpharetta (GA)

One of the top young prospects in the North Fulton area, Barbour is a pass-catching tight end who can also split out and play receiver. He’s a big target already for his age at 6-foot-3 215-pounds and is only going to get better throughout his Alpharetta career. Barbour camped at Georgia recently and assistant coach Todd Hartley saw all he needed too out of the young Alpharetta star, extending him an offer after the camp. As a prospect, Barbour has big hands and should be a major weapon in the red-zone for the Raiders in the 2022 season. Only a freshman last year, Barbour more than held his own against some really tough 7A competition, showing why schools like Georgia, Maryland, and others have extended offers. There’s a lot to like about his game, and his ability to high-point the football over defenders will make him extremely tough to handle for defenses throughout the 2022 season. As a freshman last fall, Barbour caught 26 passes for 342 yards and 2 touchdowns. As a sophomore this year, expect those numbers to increase, as well as his offer sheet.

Kylan Fox - Grayson (GA)

One of the top young tight ends and EDGE defenders in the state in the state, Fox is a big target at 6-foot-5 210-pounds who already has the size of a D1player. He showed the ability to run a smooth route for his size and he is starting to take on a leadership role on a very talented Grayson Rams team. He’s young, but the rising junior should get a lot of balls thrown his way later this fall on offense. Defensively, he can overpower defenders in the run game due to his size and length, and he’ll continue to get better there as he puts on more weight and muscle. He’s a reliable pass catcher and a really a smooth runner for his size. He has the opportunity to have a gigantic junior season, and he now as an offer from the Bulldogs.
