ATHENS - Georgia Bulldogs running back Kenny McIntosh was arrested Sunday on reckless driving and use of safety belts charges.
Both charges are misdemeanors. McIntosh was booked at 5:45 AM, and bailed out Sunday morning just before 7:00 AM on bonds of $500 and $1,500.
McIntosh ended the 2021 season with 58 carries for 328 yards and three scores. McIntosh is one of the three returning running backs for the Bulldogs. Typically Georgia players arrested on misdemeanor charges do not face game suspensions from UGA or Georgia coach Kirby Smart.
The Bulldogs open their season in the 2022 Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game against Dan Lanning’s Oregon Ducks. The Bulldogs are considered 15-point favorites to win the game.
