WATCH: Georgia Bulldog DL Jordan Davis Runs CRAZY Time At NFL Combine
INDIANAPOLIS - The legend of Georgia Bulldog defensive lineman Jordan Davis continues to grow.
The national champion defensive lineman is already a Bulldog legend for coming back to Athens for his senior season, and helping lead one of the top defenses in college football history to a championship.
Davis, the 2021 Outland and Bednarik Award Winner and 1st-team All American, is known across the country for his massive 6-foot-6 340-pound frame and overall strength. Georgia fans already know he can move as he ran down the UAB quarterback in the beginning of the season in impressive fashion.
Davis proved that he should be an easy 1st rounder in April’s draft after running a excellent time in the 40-yard dash. At 341-pounds, Davis ran an official time of 4.78, which should make his stock rise over the next few weeks. Davis’ time was better than the combine times of Patrick Mahomes, Baker Mayfield, and many more
Davis’ time has been the talk of the NFL Combine today, and it caught the attention of actor and former WWE champion Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
The Bulldog senior was one of the top defenders in college football last season, and has multiple trophies to show for it. He’s massive, he’s strong, and he’s faster than just about anyone in the world who weighs more than 340 pounds.
He dominated college football, and he has a chance to make a big name for himself at the next level. Along with former Bulldog teammate Devonte Wyatt, who also turned heads with an impressive 4.78 time in the 40-yard dash, is one of the top defensive line prospects in the 2022 NFL Draft. After an excellent day at the Combine, look for Davis to hear his name called very early on day one.
Last week, Bucky Brooks of NFL.com had Jordan Davis being selected No. 22 overall to the Las Vegas Raiders. After his performance in the NFL Combine, that would be an absolute steal for the Raiders, who only have +850 odds to win the AFC West next fall according to FanDuel.
