It could be a monster 2022 NFL Draft for Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs come April as multiple Bulldogs have first-round grades and could hear their named called in the first-round of this year’s Draft.
Between Jordan Davis, Nakobe Dean, Travon Walker, Derion Kenrick, and a slew of others, most expect to hear multiple Bulldogs defenders to be selected in the first two rounds.
Jordan Davis’ name could be off the board very early, and it appears he’s slimmed down some since Georgia’s national championship victory over Alabama.
Working with Defensive line trainer and guru Check Smith to prepare for the draft, Davis appears to be moving quite well for someone 330+ pounds. One of the best players in college football during the 2021 season, Davis won the 2021 Outland Trophy and 2021 Chuck Bednarik Award. He was also named a 2021 All-America First Team member.
A dominant run defender who eats up blocks and closes gaps between the tackles, Davis was a driving force for one of the top defenses in college football history. In his career, Davis made 91 total tackles, 12.5 TFLs, 7 sacks, and one blocked kick.
