ATHENS - Georgia Bulldogs DL Nolan Smith is returning for his final season in Athens.
Georgia Bulldogs DL Nolan Smith will anchor a Georgia defensive line that will have to replace three major contributors in Jordan Davis, Devonte Wyatt and Trayvon Walker. The 2021 Bulldogs were one of the best defenses in college football history.
Smith helped guide the Dawgs the rest of the way to an undefeated regular season, and eventually winning the Orange Bowl and National Championship Game.

The win is the Dawgs’ first national championship since 1980.
The Bulldogs are set to open the season in Atlanta against Oregon on September 3rd. The Ducks are now led by former Georgia defensive coordinator Dan Lanning.
