The Bulldogs are signing a loaded group of defensive lineman in this 2022 cycle, and Dawg Post was told quite a few weeks ago that West would not be in this class. The South Georgia star got on Georgia’s radar early in his high school career, but slowly slid down Georgia’s board over time, opening the door for others schools to jump into the mix.
The 6-foot-3 280-pound four-star prospect had been committed to Georgia since December 12, 2020. He is ranked by Dawg Post as the No. 25 overall prospect in Georgia for the 2022 class.
