ATHENS - The Georgia Bulldogs will be without Kendall Milton for at least a few weeks.

That’s according to a report from Jake Rowe at 247, who cites sources who say Milton’s injury isn’t expected to keep him off the field for the rest of the season.

“The injury won't require surgery and he's expected to miss at least two weeks,” reads the report.

Milton was expected to meet with reporters Wednesday night, but was not made available to the media. Milton is one of a slew of running backs the Bulldogs have deployed this season. He’s had just shy of 50 carries for 243 yards and a touchdown in 2021.

He’s also one of a slew of Georgia players who have missed time on the offensive side of the ball. A week ago Kirby Smart said his team was trying to keep up with how many injuries the team has sustained this season.

“There’s so many I can't even think of rest,” Smart said in response to a question about updating the status of injured players on the roster.

No. 1 Georgia is off this week, but has archival Florida in two Saturdays in Jacksonville. Georgia is also trying to get running back Kenny McIntosh healthy (hamstring). That could mean Zamir White, James Cook and Daijun Edwards could have to handle the entire load for the Dawgs against the Gators.
