If you look around the NFL, it’s tough to find a tougher player than LA Rams quarterback, Matthew Stafford.

The former Georgia Bulldog was stuck in Detroit for 12 years as the Lions did everything they could to continue to lose ballgames, even when their QB had a rocket for a right arm.

Classic, Detroit.

Stafford showed a lot of toughness and grit those 12 years, and now that he’s on a legitimate contending team, it’s clear the toughness is still there.

During the Ram’s 26-17 win over the rival Seattle Seahawks on Thursday night, Stafford dislocated one of his fingers. Instead of taking himself out of the game, the former Sugar Bowl champion just popped it back in himself.

Sideline analyst Erin Andrews asked Stafford about the incident with his finger after the game and the Rams star said he quickly became his own doctor.

“Yeah I just looked down at it and it was on the left a little bit. Threw it back in.”

Stafford would end the game 25/37 for 365 yards and one touchdown. More importantly, the former Bulldog has led the Rams to a 4-1 record as they look to win the NFC West this fall.

During his career at Georgia, the former 5-star from Dallas was a combined 564/987 for 7,731 yards and 51 touchdowns. He’s still recognized as one of the toughest and most talented QBs in Bulldog football history.
