Top Georgia Bulldog tight end target Oscar Delp is officially an All-American.

The big 6-foot-4 225-pound pass-catching tight end out of West Forsyth (GA) was presented with his All-American jersey today via Zoom, officially announcing his entrance to the game.

Delp has been a long-time Bulldog target after earning an offer from tight ends coach Todd Hartley back in September of 2020. Delp has a monster junior season for the Wolverines as a junior last season, catching 43 passes for 730 yards and 9 touchdowns. Delp, along with current Bulldog offensive lineman Dylan Fairchild, led the Wolverines to the Elite 8 of the 7A playoffs last season.

As a senior so far this season, Delp has caught 25 passes for 367 yards and three touchdowns through the first four games. He was in Charlotte to take in the Georgia/Clemson game earlier this month and was back in Athens this past weekend to watch Georgia take down South Carolina.

Delp is down to four schools that include Georgia, South Carolina, Clemson and Michigan. Dawg Post feels a decision will come in mid-October. He took his official visit to Georgia the first weekend in June.

The Bulldogs currently have 17 commitments and the only tight end they are recruiting right now is Delp. They have four-star tight end Pearce Spurlin‍ committed in the 2023 class and continue to recruit four-star TE Lawson Luckie‍ as well in that class.
