The nation’s top TE prospect, four-star Oscar Delp‍ of West Forsyth (GA), is down to his final four schools.

The big 6-foot-4 220-pounder holds major offers from across the country and has narrowed down his list to Georgia, South Carolina, Michigan and Clemson.

This comes as no surprise to Dawg Post members who have known since last year that Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs were towards the top of Delp’s list.

The Forsyth County star had a busy summer taking visits throughout the month of June. Delp took his official visit to Georgia the first weekend in June along with QB commit Gunner Stockton‍, WR commit De'Nylon Morrissette‍, RB commit Branson Robinson‍, and many more.

The Bulldogs offered early in the process back in September of 2020 and have made him a top priority in the 2022 class ever since. Delp has family ties to South Carolina, Michigan, and Clemson, but his relationship with Georgia TEs coach Todd Hartley has put the Bulldogs in an excellent position right now.

Delp also took official visits this summer to Florida (June 11th), Michigan (June 22nd) and South Carolina (June 25th). He also took unofficial visits to Alabama and Clemson this summer.

Now that he’s released his Final 4, look for Delp to take a couple early visits in September before possibly making a commitment towards the end of the month. Dawg Post has already confirmed that he’ll be in Charlotte to watch Georgia’s game against Clemson.

As a player, Delp is an elite pass catcher on offense and a reliable blocker on the edge in the run game. He has great size, length, impressive hands, and runs like a deer. He’s also a precise route-runner and a major weapon in the red-zone. Delp helped lead the Wolverines to the third round of the 7A playoffs last season after catching 43 passes for 730 yards and 9 touchdowns in just 9 games.

Dawg Post ranks Delp as the No.6 prospect in the state of Georgia for the 2022 class. He’s also ranked in the Composite rankings as the No.93 overall prospect in the country.
