ATHENS - Considering the hoopla surrounding the final weeks of 2017, it would be understandable if Georgia officials didn’t think about sending in a $30,000 invoice to Nike. 

After all, the Bulldogs had until January 8, 2018 to invoice the shoe giant for playing in and winning the SEC Championship Game. Georgia was playing for something a little bigger that night - the national title.
