What We Are Hearing: Why Arik Gilbert Transferred to Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs

ATHENS - Former LSU TE Arik Gilbert made the move today to play football for Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs. 

That move was not without many ups and downs along the way - including Gilbert committing and then backing away from the Florida Gators. 

First, a few things on the speculative nature of moves like this. Dawg Post is of the understating that Gilbert is good on the academic front. We have been told that grades are not an issue.
