ATHENS - Georgia Bulldogs defensive back Major Burns will hit the transfer portal today, he said in a statement on social media. 

The Baton Rouge native said that “it was not an easy decision, but one my heart led me to make.” Burns played in six of the Bulldogs’ ten games in 2020 - with his best game coming against the Gators in Jacksonville where he had three tackles.
