Georgia has arrived on the national scene, but this isn’t the first time. In 2012, the Bulldogs knew they were good. Mark Richt and company even played “Welcome to Miami” over loudspeakers during stretching in August… the national title game, which UGA came five yards short of playing in, was played in Miami that winter.
