Another Bulldog Wideout Enters Transfer Portal

The Bulldogs lose another receiver to the transfer portal as former 2018 signee Tommy Bush has decided to enter the portal and play somewhere else in 2021.

This comes as no surprise as the former four-star from Texas has barely seen the field as a Bulldog in his first three years, catching only one pass in his Bulldog career. Bush sat out most of 2020 due to injuries and fell down the depth chart as multiple young receivers stepped up in 2020.

Bush is the 2nd Bulldog receiver to enter the transfer portal this year, joining four-star Makiya Tongue who entered the portal in December. Tongue is now enrolled at Oregon State. Trey Blount and Matt Landers also entered the transfer portal.

The 6-foot-5 185-pounder signed with Georgia on Signing Day in February of 2018 and showed lots of potential with his speed, length, and ability to stretch the field. Bush never got going in Athens and wasn’t in a position to see a ton of playing time this fall.
