The Georgia Bulldogs (7-0) beat the Northeastern Huskies (1-4) 76-58 on Tuesday night in Stegeman Coliseum.

This game turly was a tale of two halves as Georgia struggled to get any offense going early in the game. Northeastern jumped out to 15-3 lead to start the game and maintained their double digit throughout the majority of the first period.

The second half was a completely different story. Georgia outscored the Huskies 44-13 in the second half.

Andrew Garcia led the way for the Bulldogs off the bench with 15 points and five rebounds. Toumani Camara and Sahvir Wheeler, Georgia’s best players, had an off night, so Garcia’s performace was crucial.

Northeastern guard Tyson Walker had a game-high 19 points.

Georgia moves to 7-0, continuting their best start since the 1982-83 team that made it to the Final Four. The Bulldogs start their SEC slate on Dec. 30 against Mississippi State. Georgia has passed their non-conference test, but now the attention will be turned towards how well they will fare in the SEC.
