ATHENS - Is D’Wan Mathis the answer for the Georgia Bulldogs? 

That might depend on the question. 

Kirby Smart and his program have been looking for a more dangerous runner to play quarterback for some time. They thought they had that in Justin Fields, but after the 2018 season (and for reasons that don’t have to be regurgitated once more) he left to play for Ohio State. 

But from Fields on, and this includes Mathis, Georgia has signed more athletic quarterbacks.
