ATHENS - Schools around the SEC were not surprised to see both Alabama and UGA schedules that didn’t reflect major opponent upgrades from cross-divisional rivals.

The two schools, both ranked in the top four nationally coming into the season and with a head-to-head fight in October, are seen as the best chance for the league to get not one, but two schools in the College Football Playoff.
