The Bulldogs continue to roll on the recruiting trail, picking up a commitment from 2020 three-star wide receiver, Adonai Mitchell‍.

The 6-foot-3 190-pound wideout out of Cane Ridge (TN) flipped to Georgia from Ole Miss, giving the Bulldogs their first WR commitment in the 2021 class.

So what are the Bulldogs getting in Mitchell?

Size and playmaking ability.

He’s not the biggest or fastest guy, but Mitchell is a sure-handed receiver with a good frame and good initial burst. He’s a guy who can make a big play on the outside or deep down the field, but he can also take a screen pass the distance. He’s athletic, he’s a decent route-runner, and he knows how to make difficult catches going down to the ground.

There may not be anything “elite” about his game, but Mitchell can play. He does a lot of things well but he’ll need to keep developing a little before making a true impact in Athens.

So, where do the Bulldogs go from here?

Spots are limited at wide receiver, but there are possibly two more spots open in this 2021 class.

Local wideout Deion Colzie‍ is a big-bodied receiver, but the Bulldogs are also hard after four-star Marcus Burke‍ from Jacksonville and speedy receiver Malcolm Johnson Jr.
