ATHENS - Georgia’s announcement last week for a planned October graduation for the delayed spring commencement was another step towards normalcy at UGA.

Spring 2020 commencement was set to take place in a few weeks, but COVID-19 has put a halt to any and all events at UGA for the time being. Still, the announcement for an in-person commencement on Friday, October 16, 2020 in Sanford Stadium shows that UGA certainly plans on moving forward with large gatherings by that time.
