UGA-Gators on Halloween? That's Still the Plan... For Now

ATHENS - The SEC is still planning on moving forward with a football season this fall - for now. 

The league continues to meet league wide once a day with athletic directors from each school and SEC commissioner Greg Sanky participating on a daily teleconference around lunch weekdays. 

However, SEC member institutions continue to consider and plan for contingencies should the season not start on time. 

“I think they all understand the importance of football, and getting back to normal,” said one person with knowledge of the calls.
