It a day Georgia fans have been highly anticipating for weeks, 5-star running back Zach Evans will again push back his commitment.

After making a plan to announce his commitment in the fourth quarter of the Under Armour All-American game, it was reported by ESPN that Evans would no longer be announcing on live television. The Houston, Texas native had presumably made his decision between Georgia, LSU and Alabama, but will need more time before he is ready to share his decision with the world.

Evans is considered by many to be one of the best running backs not only in the country but of the past few recruiting classes. Signs were beginning to show Georgia as a favorite, highlighted by Evans’s big hint at his decision in Orlando this week. In an interview, Evans said that the team he was choosing had just had a rookie play in the Super Bowl.

That hint perked up the moods of loads of Georgia fans, but ultimately, they’ll have to wait longer to see if he’ll join the stable of UGA running backs in 2020.
