BREAKING: Bulldogs lose 2020 WR Commitment
The Bulldogs have lost a commitment in the 2020 class.
On Tuesday night 3-star WR Corey Wren decided to open up his recruitment and back off his pledge as a Georgia commitment
The Bulldogs have now 2 receivers committed in the 2020 class in 4-stars Marcus Rosemy and Justin Robinson.
Look for the Georgia staff to add two more receivers in this class with after this decommitment from Wren.
Three of Georgia’s top targets at the receiver position are 4-stars Arian Smith, Jermaine Burton, and Marcus Fleming.
Sources told Dawg Post earlier this week that Arian Smith could be down to a final 2 of Georgia and Alabama. The Gators are still in the running but sources connected to the Florida program don’t feel good about their chances. Multiple sources beleive the Bulldogs are currently the team out in front for Smith at this time.
As Dawg Post reported last week, the Georgia staff is pushing hard to flip 4-star WR Jermaine Burton from LSU. The speedy 4-star is a Georgia native and has been pursued by the Georgia staff for years now. He was originally offered by the Bulldogs as a freshman at Hapeville Charter (GA). Burton is a guy Georgia fans should keep a close eye on moving forward.
Fleming is another speedy receiver to know. Fleming took his official visit to Georgia the weekend of November 24th for the Texas A&M game.
